Shipping Policy

Ace's Pilot Shop is committed to providing fast and affordable shipping on all of our products. We understand that holidays and birthdays are important deadlines. For this reason we work hard to make sure that your order gets to you on time. (If you need your shipment to arrive by a certain date please inform us and we will do what it takes to get it there on time.)

Ace's Pilot Shop does not profit from shipping costs. We do not advertise super low prices to get you in the door then surprise you with inflated shipping prices when you go to check out, like some online shops. Shipping is not a profit center for us. We guarantee our shipping prices will be accurate and fair. If we find that the actual shipping costs will be significantly lower than your estimate at checkout we will refund the difference. (If it's significantly more we will eat the cost ourselves.)

Shipping charges are based on weight, dimensional weight and final destination. The shipping costs displayed at checkout are U.S. estimated costs only. If your final cost is different it will be emailed to you and will be printed on your invoice.

Most orders are shipped the next business day. Orders are processed Monday through Friday.
Some Orders may need a little time to process and assemble before being shipped. If we can not ship within 2 business days or if there is a problem with your order, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for your order to arrive. For mail in orders paid by check, your order will ship when funds clear or in about 5 - 10 working days.

To offer you the largest selection possible some products such as, special order, rare and/or aircraft specific items ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor. This is because it is impractical to stock every year, make and model. We submit orders to them daily, however please understand that they each have their own shipping policies and methods and may take slightly longer to ship. Please be patient, as this is beyond our direct control.

Due to high demand for some products and or back order issues with our manufactures and suppliers, we may not have your entire order available to ship immediately. When we receive an order for items we normally have in stock that has items that are special order or out of stock, we will hold back your entire order until the backordered products arrive. Your credit card will not be charged until your products have been shipped. You will be notified by email if this should occur, you will have the option to "ship ahead" the in-stock items. Additional shipping charges may apply.

We may require a signature for orders over $150. Orders over $250 may be insured.
You can cancel your order at any time before shipment without penalty. After your order is shipped our standard return policy applies. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, unless we ship you the wrong item.

Our shipping companies require a daytime phone number. We can ship to an alternate address, such as your office, as long as the billing address matches your credit card company's records.

If a package is returned as undeliverable for any reason, you will be responsible for outbound and inbound shipping charges and charges to reship the product or a 15% restocking fee.

We gladly ship to PO, APO/FPO addresses. However, the only method we can use is the US Postal Service at your own risk. Due to high loss rates and the lack of accurate shipment tracking we can only ship through the US Postal Service by request and at your own risk. The Postal Service does not consider packages to be over due until 75 days have passed.

The Shipping Cost Displayed at Checkout is for the Continental US Only. Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders will be notified of their shipping costs.

We gladly offer service to most of the world. For international orders we charge a handling fee of $4.00 plus the actual shipping costs. Taxes and duties may be collected upon delivery, and a customs brokerage fee of $10-15.00 USD per package may be assessed. The customer is responsible for paying all taxes, duties, and brokerage fees. If you refuse a package, we will refund your purchase price minus round trip shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee (this amount will be greater than the duties and taxes in most cases). In addition, if we, through no fault of our own, are charged tax or duties for your order, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for this amount at a later date. We strictly follow U.S. Customs regulations and will not falsify the value of the order on the included invoice: please do not ask us to break the law.

NOTE: We do not accept credit card orders from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand or Nigeria. Customers in these countrys must pay by bank draft or postal money order.
